Emboss / Deboss
There’s no right or wrong answer when it comes to choosing embossed or debossed decoration techniques. Both are great for giving many items a fresh, contemporary and classy look.
Embossing is when you press into the item from above & underneath. This means the finished design stands out giving it more of a 3D effect.
Debossing, on the other hand, is when the logo is pushed into the material leaving a pressed (debossed) result.
The basic technical aspects are pretty much the same. Using heat, pressure, time and a CNC milled aluminum die containing the logo and text pressing it into the item to form a raised or pressed image.
At the end of the day, it’s all about what’s best for your project and a matter of personal preference.
